A Belated Canada D'eh!

Happy Belated Canada Day to all our family and friends down south (and to any other Canadian who reads this blog). I had hoped to write a post and upload some photos of the day, but when we arrived home late yesterday afternoon from the day's festivities in Ktown's twin municipality of Keewatin, our internet was down once again.

While JK loved the parade ("Look, a fire truck!  Look, a police car!  Look, a man walking on stilts!  Look, a..."), there was little variety for FK and the adults to enjoy this year.  Next year we will need to travel to a different location to celebrate Canada Day (any ideas?).  In 2017 Canada will be celebrating its 150th year as a country, so my spouse and I decided that the family will be in Ottawa for that celebration.  The Sprouts will be older (obviously), and will appreciate Canada Day on a whole different level than they do today.  Of course, we will need to locate a Dairy Queen to enjoy a post-festivity ice cream cone (a family tradition).
