[oil and water]
Recipe:
Glass of cold water sitting atop egg holders; couple of drops of dish detergent (prevents the bubbles from merging for a while); under the egg holders coloured paper; a light shining on the paper; camera on tripod...
..oh, and oil for oil drops, of course.

Invisible Chemical Bonds
What intrigued me more than anything was finding out the way in which everything, all of creation, all of it! - was held together by invisible chemical bonds, and I found a strange, inexplicable comfort in knowing that somewhere, even though we couldn't see it in our world, there was real stability.

On the Table
Last real day of holidays, spending quality time with my family, especially my son (he's learning to play chess), drinking good coffee, and enjoying moments of quiet reading (yes, those are my reading glasses - showing my age).
