Mutant (i) "Published"
Woohoo! Woke up this morning to find out Mutant (i) was published on National Geographic's Your Shot Daily Dozen Page for July 8, 2013.

2013 Kenora Air Show
"This is awesome!" was a recurring exclamation from Josiah after yet another Snowbirds flyby. We thoroughly enjoyed our Kenora Air Show experience. The Sprouts clambered in and out of helicopters and airplanes old and new. Jelly Belly jelly beans were eaten (free Jelly Bellies!). Ears were covered during the CF-18 Hornet demonstration. Laughter and amazement shown at aerial acrobatic stunts. Lots of cheering for the Snowbirds team which performed an amazing show.
The show was the first I've photographed. I decided to have fun with the family rather than worry about "getting the shot". It made for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon all around. I did keep mental notes on what to do next time to take better images. I also wish we lived in town so that I could have stayed later and gone early the next morning to take "golden hour" photographs of the planes on the ground. Most of the images I took were discards, but here are some that made the cut:
